2023 Party Bookings Available
Book your party at the Pride of Canada Carousel! We offer two-hour bookings on Saturdays and Sundays for Birthday Parties, Baby Showers, Engagement Parties or whatever you wish! Each booking includes:
- Unlimited rides for the full two hours
- A private party area within the Carousel Pavilion
- Picnic and bistro table seating for up to 70 people
- Four additional tables with white skirted coverings for food, cake, beverage etc.
- Access 1 hour prior to your event for party set-up and 30 minutes following for a wind down and cleanup
- Please note there is a maximum of 25 children and 60 guests in total per booking, Extra guests, that surpass 60 guests in total, will require a $10 charge
You can bring any food and decorations (balloons must be weighted down). Food or ice cream trucks, catering, require approval. We are open to additional entertainment, for example face painting, magicians, balloon twisters. Other ideas? Please ask.
Please note that as a community destination, we do remain open to the public. These parties are not private events. The carousel will offer prioritized access for your guests as needed.
Use the form below to determine the availability of the carousel for your event. We offer time slots of either 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Each booking requires a PayPal deposit to secure the space for your event with the balance due on the day of the event.
Pricing: Two-Hour Party: $500 + HST [includes $150 deposit].

You can purchase a ticket(s) with our carousel operators.
A single-ride ticket is $3, 2 tickets for $5, and 10 tickets for $20.
Parking and entry is free into the Pride of Canada Carousel Pavilion. Parking is available behind the carousel and at the Downtown Markham Presentation Centre. Access to the parking lot is from southbound Birchmount Road and 162 Enterprise Drive. We can accommodate overflow parking at the Aviva Canada building just across the street.
Yes, our washrooms are located beside the Reflection Pond in the building that houses the Downtown Markham Presentation Centre and restaurant Terre Rouge.
While we are covered with a roof, the Carousel Pavilion is open air. We advise our guests to dress for an outdoor event.
There are change tables inside both washrooms beside across the pond in the building that houses the Downtown Markham Presentation Centre and restaurant Terre Rouge.
Due to the safety of children, we discourage dogs from entering the Carousel Pavilion. We make exceptions for service dogs. No dogs are permitted on the ride.
As per T.S.S.A. requirements, children aged 5 and under or less than 36 inches in height must ride with an adult (18+ years old). The chaperone does not need to purchase a ticket. Height restrictions are strictly enforced for safety. All riders are subjected to minimum height restrictions.
No food or drink may be brought onto or consumed on the carousel. You may bring food or drink into the pavilion.
All birthday party bookings include unlimited carousel rides for guests for two hours, picnic and bistro table seating in addition to tables with white skirted coverings for food, cake, beverage, etc. Your party will be set up in a private party area within the Carousel Pavilion.
